Excuses, Excuses
I'm exhausted. I'll do it tomorrow. It's Easter weekend. I have to study. I'm stressed. The kids are getting on my nerves.
Why do I need all of these excuses? Well, after my awesome workout Saturday morning, I came home, showered, and immediately started cooking our Easter lunch. I skipped breakfast, which is a big no-no, so that led me to thinking that I could make up for it by eating whatever I wanted all day. I had intended to give myself a pass for lunch, because I always allow myself to have 1 meal in which I don't worry about the calories. Well, that one meal turned into 2 days worth of binging on junk food and candy and guzzling diet soda.
To combat my bad behavior, I set my alarm for 5:30 this morning to walk/jog, and at 5:30, I turned it off and rolled over. I told myself that if I was already that exhausted, jogging would only make it worse, making it impossible for me to study for my exam.
So, I'm sitting here downing water and eating my healthy breakfast of a whole grain waffle topped with natural peanut butter and an apple with 2% cheese cubes. It's partially alleviating my guilt, but I know I still need to exercise. If I don't do it today, I'll set my alarm and get up tomorrow. I swear. I'll even go to bed early tonight to make sure I can get up.
Today is also the last day of the ChaLean Burn Circuit. On Wednesday I start Push. So without further adieu, here are my 1 month results...
Left Bicep -2 in
Right Bicep -1 in
Chest -2 in
Waist -3.5 in
Abductors -2 in
Hips -1.5 in
Right Thigh 0 in
Left Thigh 0 in
Total Inches Lost = 12 inches
Total Pounds Lost = 12 pounds
Not bad for a month. I do think it would have been more if I had completely stuck with her program instead of doing my own thing for cardio, since most of my loss was in the first 2 weeks, when I was strictly on the program. Plus I got lazy at the end of the month and didn't even do the last Burn Circuit. I'm debating on a new training program I found, but I need a bike, and those damn things are expensive. So, for now I'm sticking with ChaLean since it seems to be working.
